RHAN A no-nonsense but nonetheless vibrantly friendly spymistress. Rhan is happy enough to tell anyone who asks about herself - namely, that she is a liar and a thief. She's good with lots of moving pieces and takes pleasure out of mother-henning anyone who will listen (or, you know, anyone who won't). MENTAL LINK: Something sharp in the dark. Something glittering. A sense of belonging, of community, of liking it. Rhan was once part of a prestigious thieves guild and she's used to a certain level of intimacy and camaraderie. A friend. A true one. SIVA'CO Siva'Corran Tarvana Sit Septi'an is a stern, strict ex-millitary Savaren. He is tall, somewhat lanky and rangy, and quiet, with tawny fur and several stripes. MENTAL LINK: Order, precision, control. A soldier, first and foremost, and is unfazed by violence, but it occupies his thoughts. He tends to be rather even-keeled, almost bland, even in his mind, pragmatic almost to a fault, but he forms deep bonds with those in his command. Still harbors some instinctual distrust of aliens, despite the years, but is quick to overcome them and never allows them to interfere with missions. ( played by: Donna )

LYR The child of a monastic order which believes in The Order Of Things - essentially a basic math of the universe from which every substance and form is derived. Lyr has a penchant for melancholia and a kind of fundamental nihilism, but he has a dark sense of humor and cares deeply for the people in his company which keeps him from being completely intolerable. MENTAL LINK: The smell of rain in dust. A cool stone. A quiet, still pool with some small silvery fish moving in tandem under the water's surface. ( played by: Abby )

COLLECTOR Slightly over five feet tall and narrow, she nevertheless has a deep chest- like the birds her people descended from. She's covered almost entirely in feathers except for her scaled hands and feet. It is impossible to separate who she is from what she does- which is collect stories. She cannot speak mammalian languages and tends to communicate mentally. MENTAL LINK: The Collector has a bright, active, almost overpowering mind. She thinks in stories almost exclusively, and absorbs massive amounts of them. She tends to be bright, but sometimes he fails to empathize fully. There is a citrus scent to her mind, a crispness and a clarity, the edge of something bitter despite the sweetness. ( played by: Donna )
